17 ‘For I will [a]restore you to [b](A)health
And I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the Lord,
‘Because they have called you an (B)outcast, saying:
“It is Zion; no one [c]cares for her.”’

Restoration of Jacob

18 “Thus says the Lord,
‘Behold, I will (C)restore the [d]fortunes of the tents of Jacob
And (D)have compassion on his dwelling places;
And the (E)city will be rebuilt on its ruin,
And the (F)palace will stand on its rightful place.
19 ‘From them will proceed (G)thanksgiving
And the voice of those who [e](H)celebrate;
And I will (I)multiply them and they will not be diminished;
I will also (J)honor them and they will not be insignificant.
